Quoting app for roofers.Show them what you saw up the ladder.
Short answer
Upheld is a quoting app for UK roofers. You talk through the roof on site and add your photos, it prices the materials, scaffold and labour from your own rates, and your customer gets a branded video quote that shows the problem, the fix and the price, with an accept button and a deposit link.
The customer never sees the roof
They take your word for the slipped tiles and the rotten battens. Your photos are the proof, and a PDF buries them.
Scaffold, skips and weather
Every roof quote has costs the customer does not expect. Explaining them in writing is hard.
Roofing has a trust problem
Homeowners are wary of roofers who knock on the door. A professional quote in your name answers that before they ask.
How a quote gets made in Upheld
- Walk the job and talk it through on your phone, the way you would explain it to a mate. Add a few photos.
- Upheld turns it into priced lines from your own price list, your markup and your day rate. Anything it cannot price is flagged for you.
- You check every line and press send. Nothing reaches a customer until you have.
- Your customer gets one link by text, WhatsApp or email: a short video quote in your name, the written quotation, and buttons to accept, ask for a change or pay the deposit.
- You see when they open it and how much they watch. When someone keeps coming back to it, Upheld tells you to ring them.

What a roofing quote should include
- Photos of the problem, so the customer sees what you saw
- Scaffold, skips and waste disposal as separate lines
- Materials by area, and the membrane, battens, ridge and verge system
- Guarantee terms, and what happens if you find more damage once the old roof is off
- Deposit, total, and how long the price stands
Questions trades ask
Can I add my photos to the quote?
Yes. Add photos from the job and they appear in the video and on the quote page.
What if I find more damage when the roof is open?
Say so on the quote as an exclusion or a provisional sum. If the work changes, send a new version on the same link for the customer to accept.
Can customers pay a deposit online?
Yes. Connect your own Stripe account and they pay the deposit by card when they accept. It goes straight to you.
Can I send it as a written quote only?
Yes. Every quote can go as a video or as a clean written quotation in your brand. Same price, same link.
